With Prince William Safely at University, Kate and Carole Middleton Go on a Shopping Spree

With Prince William safely packed off on his agricultural course in Cambridge, back in London Catherine Middleton hit the shops with her mother Carole yesterday. [caption id="attachment_52315" align="aligncenter" width="552"]"Go straight to the shops and don't spare the horses, Mummy!" "Hurrah! One is free! - Go straight to the shops and don't spare the horses, Mummy!"[/caption] Now there's a surprise. The 31-year-old Duchess of Cambridge and Mummy Middlers, 58, hit up Peter Jones department store in Sloane Square and were spotted by onlookers in the home furnishings section. They were probably making a valiant effort to max out the credit cards knowing that Wills will be too tired from learning about the finer points of cattle mating habits and sheep shearing to check his bank statements for the next ten weeks. [caption id="attachment_52306" align="aligncenter" width="620"]prince william farm school Wills: "Look! That one's got a boner daddy!" Charles: "No poppet, those are called UDDERS"[/caption] A source tells Bohomoth that Kate's going to be staying with her parents at their Bucklebury mansion (which her husband helped pay for) for a considerable part of Wills' time in Cambridge, allowing her to "prepare" for their official trip to Australia in April - while mummy and daddy look after baby George. For the mother-of-one's 32nd birthday tomorrow, William WILL be with her at their sprawling Kensington Palace apartment in the evening and there's also a family dinner planned at the Middleton's modest, refined and tastefully-sized Georgian home in Berkshire this weekend. I'd love to know what she bought at Peter Jones for Wills to give to her as a gift on the big day - what a helpful, practical wife she is, eh? I wonder if he’ll gift her with another one of Diana’s pieces ? She’ll need an extensive wardrobe for the upcoming trip, lord I hove she picks some edgy pieces.

    • Jen Paul says:

I bet you he will. Definitely, definitely, definitely. My bet is he’ll give her the Cartier tank watch. I wish he’d just give her the lot and commission some new pieces at Aspreys for bdays.

        Agree completely

        • Jen Paul says:

Maybe when she’s Queen she’ll get some new pieces? I hope so. I love some OTT jewel pron.

          • Diana says:

Just an off-topic question – would Camilla be in line to gain any royal jewelery? or would everything go directly to Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge? I wouldn’t give Camilla a used Kleenex – I was just wondering what the “official party line” on her rights to royal goodies.

I just noticed Carole must be who started Kate and Pippa on the road of ruin and the heavy eyeliner addiction. I bet she told them as kids “Rich men don’t marry ladies who don’t eyeliner”.

I would love to see footage of Willie attempt to milk a cow during his farmer’s course. I’m sure the boys at Eton taught him how, he just has no idea yet.

“Her husband helped pay for”? Wills paid for the Bucklebury mansion?

  7. Jodie says:

I really love Charles and Camilla. They are my favourite royals and I kick myself that I did not greet them when they came to Australia. There were only about 20 crazies there.

I want more of Carols brother Gazza. He sounds like fun.
