Jennifer Aniston and her Fox’s glacier mint engagement ring were at the Chateau Marmont yesterday for the annual Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Event.
The 43-year-old actress is looking to me like she’s chosen being 10lbs heavier than she was in her thirties over wrinkles. It’s a call we all have to make eventually – fillers and botox only work for so long and no one wants to risk a full facelift lest they look like they’ve had their gills tucked behind their ears – like Madge, for example.
Imagine to ending up looking like Madonna, who despite paying New York’s Dr.Brandt tens of thousands of dollars over the past decade doesn’t look thirty two as planned and looks like someone who had extensive work done.
Back to Jen: She looks good – Justin’s clearly giving her a good seeing to regularly that combined with the regular laser porn, as she calls it, is giving her a healthy glow.
Jen was at the Vogue event to support Jen Meyer who the magazine writes became a jewellery designer in 2005 at hubby Tobey Maguire’s behest. That’s oh so very Anna Wintour, isn’t it?- She giveth the poor woman an award with one hand but then she takes it away with the other making out that really it’s just Jennifer’s little hobby she does with her husband’s money because she was bored.
Still, Jen Aniston seemed more than happy to bedeck herself in a load of 18ct gold jewellery her friend designed (just that necklace alone costs over 10 grand) and sit there and clap for five minutes while she got her award alongside Isla Fisher.
Anyway, this has got me thinking: We have heard, of course, that Justin Theroux “designed” the Fox Glacier mint on Jen’s left hand, (anything Brad can do J squared can do better) but who MADE the ring, helped him with the design and kept the tack factor as low as possible whilst remaining tight-lipped throughout?
I can’t remember hearing a jeweller’s name in relation to this bauble- which makes me wonder whether Jen and Justin called in a favour from a friend in the shape of Meyer which is why Aniston was so eager to pop along and lend her support to an otherwise dreary event.
Jennifer Meyer’s dad is a Hollywood biggie, Ron Meyer started Creative Artists in fact she’s probably thought of as Hollywood royalty..
Jennifer A has been friends with Jennifer M and Toby for years. She wore one of her necklaces in a movie (forget which one) which helped to boost Meyer’s career. Jennifer A also help to promote her yoga instructor’s book and video, which also helped her career.
As far as her weight, she stopped smoking a couple of years ago which she said caused her to gain some weight. Also, saw pictures of her with her knee wrapped during filming and believe she had some problems with it which also attributes to her not working out as much. Since she got with Justin she said she is no longer dieting and just tries to eat everything in moderation.
Just wonder,did Katy perry actually mingle with Jen? They knew JM ..he he

I agree with Sophie,that Jen and Jen meyer,already being friend for long time. There are YouTube vid when Jen still with Mayer ,they all had dinner together with cox,Meyer ,Jeremy the porn star. In that video,Jen Meyer had a very serious conversation with John.
Jen supported jenmeyer jewellery for long time.
Just looking at Dr. Brandt’s face would cause most to run screaming from his presence. It certainly is not an advertisement for his sensitive skin sculpting.
