The powers that be have clearly replaced the old Kristen Stewart- she of the shampoo allergic, scowly-faced, Converse with designer gowns wearing, middle-finger aloft waving bratress of yore with the quite likeable, showered, pleasant-looking person in the above photo.
Shockingly, the 22-year-old’s even wearing a tangerine Victoria Beckham dress for this appearance on Live with Kelly and Michael over the weekend.
This choice of “designer” clothing coupled with her not looking like she rolled out of bed following a tequila bender and into a TV studio, is so not K-Stew that it reminds me of when Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman got taken to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and given a fash-over at the high-end boutiques.
Of course, it’s all an act and someone’s had a word in her shell-like and told her to pretend she’s got a chink of professionalism about her and make out like she loves doing movie publicity but it’s a giant Louboutin-heeled step in the right direction.
