Sarah Jessica Parker joined her fashion-mom Anna Wintour for a screening of HBO’s In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye screening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night. The TV documentary which airs tomorrow night stateside, celebrates the editorial genius in Vogue’s 120 years.

So what did she wear? More to the point, what piece of furniture puked on her?
This two-tine brown floral vintage dress is just a touch too close to an old dusty couch for my liking. Not surprisingly SJP was possessed by the ghost of Carrie Bradshaw, who tried to worked a couple of accessories to lift a dress that matched the host body’s hair.
A royal blue and gold Fendi bag was a perfect addition to the dress, but these purple-tone Jean Michel Cazabat snakeskin pumps clashed. In fact the WTF shoes just clashed with everything. The only thinking I get behind the choice is that they draw the eye down from the toffee-tone saturated top-half.
I wonder if Anna pursed a lip at her favourite celebrity guest?
In my opinion, it’s a sign of cheap short cuts when the pattern doesn’t match up where there is a seam.
I hate that. It’s particularly glaring in photo 1.
