Kate Middleton may be the Discount Duchess, who’s made a name for herself for recycling designer outfits and buying high street then spending twice what it cost or more on tailoring so it fits like it’s bespoke, but that hasn’t stopped her from advertising for a servant to polish her silverware come July.
The 31-year-old Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William have placed a wanted advert internally at Buckingham Palace for a ‘discrete, loyal and reliable’ employee who must ensure ‘all areas of the residence are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.’
And, the successful candidate will prepare simple meals, do some driving, wash their smalls and walk the couple’s dog Lupo.
So basically they want a posh cleaner who can whip up beans on toast for them.
I don’t know why they’re bothering to advertise though.
With her cookery book for dummies ‘Celebrate’ languishing in bargain bins in bookstores across the land, isn’t Catherine’s younger sister Pippa Middleton currently at a bit of a loose end?
