Shiny and I love us some Michelle Obama and she celebrated her 49th birthday yesterday by opening a twitter account and unveiling a photograph of herself sporting a new fringe.
The First Lady is pictured meeting with Inaugural citizen co-chair David Hall ahead of the National Day of Service tomorrow which her and hubby Barack will be attending.
Which means we’ll be given a better look at that new hair, which is a vast improvement on her former ‘do in my opinion.
You can follow Shelly O here on her new twitter account which she’s tweeting on under the handle FLOTUS. I’ve just realised that stands for First Lady of the United States, which fingers crossed she won’t be forced to change next time there’s a Presidential election.
If they do get kicked out of the White House, maybe she can say the ‘F’ stands for ‘Fierce’.

As US presidents are restricted to two terms of office they will be out of there in January 2017. As Shiny says maybe she can convert the Twitter name to F(ierce)LOTUS.
