Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were out in New York yesterday with the latter doing her best stroppy diva impression.
I can not wait until the youngest Cruise is an adult- she’s going to be the darling of fashion watchers the world over.
Meanwhile, I’ve been looking into what’s going on behind the scenes with Tom, Katie and Suri and, like everything surrounding the trio from their marriage to her conception to the divorce, it’s a mystery.
All the former Scis are in agreement: Without a doubt if Tom and Katie weren’t famous, she’d be declared as a Suppressive person, painted as the equivalent of a psychopath and he as a Scientologist would be BANNED from either contacting them or allowing them to contact him.
It happens and has happened to Scientologists the world over and families remain fractured and estranged thanks to this policy the cult forcefully employs but goes to great lengths to deny exists.
There’s a problem though: How does Tom set a good example to his leaders and followers whilst remaining a PR friendly front to the rest of the world?
Hmm. Perhaps he just pretends he does see Suri just as Connor and Bella pretend to still have contact with Nicole and meanwhile both ex-wives just thank their blessings and remain quiet and move swiftly on with their lives?
We last saw Tom with Suri last summer (so it’s currently 169 days since then fact-fans) and since then it’s all gone v-ery quiet with no pap friendly photo ops or sit downs with magazines talking about them driving along in the car in Telluride, Ohio singing James Blunt’s ‘You’re Beautiful’ (as he and Katie did in front of the reporter in the ‘Yes, Suri She’s Our Baby’ cover story they did back in the day).
There was an unconfirmed story they were together for Thanksgiving and part of Christmas but in Tom’s world- if it isn’t photographed, did it really happen?
At least Katie had the smarts to spirit Suri away with her and for that I’ll always, always respect her- leaving the side-eyes I give her for marrying into the cult in the first place at the door.
