Can we officially call it a trend if a hat-trick of celebrities wear something?
I think so.
Rihanna rocked up to her hoe-tel (that was a typo but I’m keeping it) in New York wearing her Miu Miu Culte shades – that she first wore during her trip to the French Riviera last summer – yesterday, and Miranda Kerr has also been trotting around the Big Apple wearing hers (which she’s also had since last year).
(PS: Note to Rihanna: Looking good, guurl, keep it up).
Naomi Watts also sported a pair when she arrived at the Venice Film Festival last September. So it’s looking like a 2012 trend that’s carrying over quite happily into this year.
If you want to buy them Miu Miu have them on their e-boutique for $390 but, River Island are doing a pair of similar-ish gold-rimmed hexagonal shades for £13 (below).
I think I prefer the RI ones. The Miu Miu ones are a bit ’70s Elton.
