New York Magazine reports that a Vogue team, including Annie Leibowitz, has been spotted setting up at the White House. Is the First Lady Of Fabulous getting her second cover of the first lady of US magazines?
Now allegedly President Obama has a free schedule today. Could Michelle and Barack be doing a cover together. Holy Mother of McQueen, this is fab.
So the question remains, will Knowles or Obama front the bumper March mag? Anna Wintour could go with the same roster as 2009, pushing Knowles to the April ‘Shape’ issue, and trump Shelly-VO up to the second biggest issue of the year.
The editrix’s allegiances to the Obama administration would indicate that the White House comes first. Though it was speculated she would be awarded for her vast contributions to the Obama campaign with a US ambassadorship, it would seem that all-access to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is the pay-off.
Third option: Double March covers. Bey and Jay literally raised millions and loaned their faces to the recent Presidential campaign.
