Anne Hathaway has come to settle on a look that actually suits her and doesn’t annoy the sh*t out of everyone on her trip to Europe for Les Miserables press and last night’s BAFTAs in London.
This Burberry column gown with a rounded stud embellished t-shirt-like top is probably her best look of the season.
This ’60s-esque kooky glamour girl look is right up her alley with that short ‘do. Less ‘fashion girl’ going forward please, Chuckles, and more ‘Funny Face’ meets Twiggy.
And when she faux-shocked her way up to the stage to accept best supporting actress (which let’s face it should be renamed ‘The Hathaway’) I was pleasantly distracted from her gasping for air like she just ran a few blocks to catch a bus, by her fab bangles.
The ‘Les Mis’ clutch might seem cliche to most, but I think it’s actually adorable. At least she wasn’t carrying an ‘In Cold Blood’ bag. That would have been obvious.
One can only hope that in two weeks when Annie collects her Oscar, she’ll p*ss off for a good year so the public can recoil from a constant state of a dog whose fur has been perpetually stroked the wrong way for months.
