I actually like what Britney Spears was wearing yesterday- apart from the trainers borrowed from K-Fed, I’d probably wear this studded donkey jacket and black leggings for a trip to the supermarket. For her, she looks good.
The 31-year-old has had a new love interest (above’s a bodyguard not said boyfriend) picked out for her by her father Jamie Spears and manager Larry Rudolph.
He’s a law firm field researcher called Dave, who is 27 and apparently, an avid golfer who’s now teaching Brit Brit her way around a golf course.
TMZ have pictures of the pair golfing at the Sherwood Country Club and report that Dave hails from Atlanta and doesn’t have ‘significant ties’ in California.
Until now.
Britney’s always better when she’s not single and with Jason Trawick exiting stage left, Papa Spears must have been frantically searching online dating sites in recent weeks to find his daughter a pre-approved boyfriend in time for Valentine’s day (when Dave took her to a sushi restaurant and paid).
I was watching an interview on TV yesterday with this guy whose written a book about his time as an escort to a plethora of A-list stars at events in Hollywood.
He’s called Christopher Gaida and has accompanied stars including Sandra Bullock, Fergie, Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift to red carpets, guiding them down the red carpet and making sure they don’t get lost in the process.
It’s an actual profession in Hollywood- more of this later.
I wonder if ‘Dave’s’ legal field research doesn’t pay so well and he’s supplemented his income by joining up with one of these sort of agencies and that’s how he met Britney?
Given that her life’s so controlled by her father and manager, I can’t think how else they’d have found and pre-approved him?
