There’s a lot of talk that the 49-year-old Lone Ranger star is making a concerted effort to stay sober at the moment.
He certainly didn’t come across as in any way inebriated last night and sightings of him tumbling out of clubs late at night have dwindled to none.
Johnny hates doing interviews and used to glug insane amounts of red wine in the green room beforehand, leaving frantic publicists to worry they’d have to cancel at the last minute.
Maybe the music he’s throwing himself into at the new estate in Nashville and at the house in LA, plus the dust settling on his split with Vanessa Paradis with them sharing custody of the kids in a cordial, low-key manner, mean he’s finally starting to find himself in a good place?
I hope so. Because when Johnny’s at his best, he’s incredible.
(Waiting for part 3 of the interview and will upload when it’s available).
