Thanks Boho! Let me summarize for those of you who didn’t read through the links:
1) ScarJo says she can’t get roles because of her incredible, incendiary beauty (paraphrased). Never mind that she’s in every other movie in the cineplex. She apparently feels she deserves all female roles ever.
2) Kirsten Stewart wanted to get raunchy in the last Twilight movie but the spectre of an “R” rating scared everyone off.
3) Katie Upton has beautiful breasts, which are apparently completely natural. Editorial comment: what is with the lack of waist in SI swimsuit models? — I’m looking at you Brooklyn Decker as well. What happened to the much vaunted waist-to-hip ratio? I love Katie Upton; she is a GORGE woman with a banging body, but she has square hips and no waist, like half the other SI swimsuit models. Is this the hot new body type? I seriously would like to know.
3) Lainey, on her usual brainless Brad Pitt apology rant, admits he appears to have ruined WWZ and that everybody seems to hate him, but — wait a minute! Maybe not. Maybe that clever Brad Pitt is actually creating a masterpiece under the guise of this disastrous project. Lainey actually confided that WWZ may turn out to be another — wait for it — “Apocalypse Now.” Uh-huh, Lainey. Why does this woman still have a job?
4) For those of us who have only recently realized the extent of airbrushing and photoshopping that goes into making a SI photo shoot, I offer you the two following pictures:

Um, not a fair comparison. I’m not a KB fan, but she deserves better that that. The second photo you show is a recent (ie this month 2012) one. I can’t find the date of the first one but it’s on this May 2008 site http://www.hotcelebfun.com/?p=98 so is at least 4+ years old. Hell, girlfriend is allowed to get a bit of a wobble on over four years, isn’t she? Don’t be a cynic all your life, it doesn’t suit you.
Don’t make assumptions about people you know nothing about, Fatso, and don’t patronize me. I actually was completely unaware of the extent of photoshopping models/celebs get until fairly recently. Hardly a cynic.
I’d add that I had no idea that the first pic was old as it was on the same page and the same site as the second set I posted. However, there were other pix of Brook in the same bathing suit that were obviously taken the same day, on another site, and she had “miraculously” dropped twenty pounds if you were going by the set of pix up on the second site. In fact, she looked almost exactly like the SI cover in the second set of pix, except without the tan.
It’d sure be nice if we could all go through life knowing that we’d be photoshopped and airbrused to perfection, no matter what we looked like. As someone who suffers from body dysmorphia disorder, who spent years trying to attain those perfect photoshopped bodies, who, at one point in early adulthood weighed 92 pounds at 5′ 4″, I don’t think you get to tell me “not to be a cynic” and/or what does or does not “suit me.”
